Winds gusting to 15-20 meters in much of the country and up to 25 mps in some places left around 2,000 customers of Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius (Energy Distribution Operator, or ESO) without electricity.

The Fire and Rescue Department handled 53 calls to help remove trees downed by the high winds, with the largest number of incidents registered in Klaipeda, Kaunas and Utena.
