The public survey also revealed that Arvydas Avulis, owner of real estate company Hanner, closely trails Nausėda and is followed by Kauno Grūdai owner Tautvydas Barštys.

Robertas Dargis, president of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and owner of real estate company Eika, also got into the top list, followed by Jolanta Blažytė, the majority shareholder of the Vikonda business group, and Mantas Bartuška, CEO of state-run railway company Lietuvos Geležinkeliai (Lithuanian Railways).

MG Baltic owner Darius Mockus also got into the Top 10 with Swedbank chief economist Nerijus Mačiulis, Žilvinas Šilėnas, president of the Lithuanian Free Market Institute, and the Bank of Lithuania's economist Raimondas Kuodis.

Meanwhile, a survey of Lithuania's elite, carried out by magazine Reitingai, showed that Dargis is considered the most influential, followed by Nausėda, Mockus and Nerijus Numavičius, the key owner of Vilnius Prekyba, one of the largest business groups in Lithuania.

The list continues with Avulis, Mačiulis, Kuodis, business Ilja Laurs, Biotechpharma owner Vladas Bumelis and Danas Arlauskas, head of the Lithuanian Confederation of Employers.

Spinter Tyrimai carried out its survey of 1,003 people for delfi.lt on June 19-27.

Reitingai polled 861 representatives of the elite on May 14-June 4.
