"Russian officers found the paraglider on their side, in the sea. The person was not discovered," Giedrius Misutis, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, told BNS.

In his words, the paraglider was discovered a few kilometers from the coast and some 1.5 km from the Lithuanian border.

The search for the pilot who was flying from Vilnius to Nida is in progress since Thursday evening.
