The severe material deprivation rate for urban areas last year remained almost unchanged at 13.8 percent, while that for rural areas fell by 2 percentage points to 13 percent.
The rate for the country's five biggest cities and towns was 12.7 percent, compared with 15.5 percent for other towns.
