“There is a schedule for switching to the summer time, which covers the period until the end of 2016. There was a proposal to ask the European Commission whether or not that directive might be amended, revoked, etc. Following consultations with the Commission, that initiative was dismissed by both the Commission and Member States,” Alminas Mačiulis told BNS.
