Inscriptions inciting ethnic discord have been spotted in several places in Kaunas, Lithuania's second largest city, over the last few days.

Several inscriptions saying "Russians are scum" and "Russians go home" were discovered on two residential buildings on Kovo 11 Street at 1:20 p.m. on Sunday.

At 8:10 am on Monday, inscriptions insulting Polish people were found on a local monument in a park on the same street.

An investigation is underway.
