At about 19:30 Neringa Fire and Rescue Service received a report that three fishermen, who were ice-fishing close to Preila village, got lost because of dense fog and could not get back to shore.

An intense search has begun to find the fishermen.

Update: The fishermen were found. They had been wandering for several hours in fog with a visibility of 15 metres. The ice on the Curonian Lagoon is currently between 40 and 50 cm thick, but temperatures this week have reached above freezing in some parts of Lithuania.
