The court fined her €1,300 and the severity of the driving ban reflected the fact that she had previous traffic offences on her record for speeding.

Gineikaitė was convicted for driving under the influence when she caused an accident in Kaunas.

Gineikaitė denied the charges, but the former director and some staff at Kaunas Clinical Hospital managers still could face charges for allegedly attempting to conceal the fact she was drunk at the time of the accident.
