The 30 municipalities include the cities of Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda.

Lithuania's overall flu and acute upper respiratory tract infection (URI) incidence rate for Feb. 5 through 11 reached 185.2 per 10,000 inhabitants, the center said.

According to the Education and Science Ministry, 132 schools across Lithuania, or 13 percent of all of its schools, on Monday were closed due to an outbreak of flu and cold, down from 250 schools last week.
