Transport Minister Rokas Masiulis' family is the wealthiest among the families of Lithuanian ministers and that of Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga has the lowest assets, according to asset declarations released by the State Tax Inspectorate on Wednesday.

Masiulis and his wife declared assets worth 602,000 euros. The minister's wife has 204,000 euros in loans. What singles Masiulis out from other members of the Cabinet is that he holds 117,000 euros worth of shares.

Defense Minister Raimundas Karoblis in second on the list with assets worth 356,000 euros. He has loans worth 79,000 euros.

The declared assets of Health Minister Veryga and his wife total 36,000 euros. The minister also declared a 27,000-euro loan.

Government Chancellor Milda Darguzaitė is by far wealthier than all ministers, with assets worth 1.3 million euros. She has taken a loan of 191,000 euros.
