Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė's personal assets and savings rose by 27,000 euros in 2016 from 2015 to reach 837,000 euros, according to asset declarations data released by the State Tax Inspectorate on Wednesday.

The family of Viktoras Pranckietis, the speaker of the Seimas, saw their assets decline by 25,000 euros over the year to 296,000 euros.

Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and his wife declared almost 214,000 euros in assets, down by almost 10,000 euros compared with 2015.
