President Dalia Grybauskaite says that her second term of office will differ from the first one not only because the geopolitical situation has changed significantly and new challenges have emerged.

"How will it differ? Well, first of all, geopolitical situation around Lithuania has changed. We will see opportunities arising in Lithuania, working two years with this Coalition and after the elections three years with the new one," Grybauskaitė told reporters.

AMonf other issues that will receive her attention the president mentioned external, state security, energy, social security challenges and social exclusion.

Grybauskaitė will be inaugurated for the second five-year term of office on Saturday, 12 July.
