"We have a decision - we will propose Danelius, former head of the Klaipėda County Prosecutor's Office of the Prosecutor General's Office," Skvernelis told BNS on Monday morning.

Danelius is currently the associated partner at TGS Baltic law office (Varul, Grun, Sutkienė). Before becoming a lawyer, he served as prosecutor for 16 years and left the prosecution system in 2013.

Danėlius represented presidential spokeswoman Daiva Ulbinaitė in the case where she was charged with leaking a state secret. Ulbinaitė was cleared of all charges.
