According to reports, Wednesday is Naudžius' last working day at the national radio and television LRT, and he will officially assume his new duties next week.
The president's representatives have neither confirmed nor denied the report. "The team of presidential advisers will be announced following her inauguration on Jul. 12," Grybauskaite's adviser Živilė Didžgalvienė told BNS.
Naudžius, 43, would replace Daiva Ulbinaitė who stepped down as the president's spokeswoman after prosecutors handed over to court the case of the leak of a state secret, in which she is a suspect.
