Ratings of Lithuania's political parties have stabilized, with the opposition Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats (conservatives, TS-LKD) ranking first, followed by the ruling Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union, shows a Vilmorus survey published in Lietuvos Rytas daily on Saturday.

According to the poll, the conservatives were backed by 16.3 percent of those polled (15.4 pct in November), the LFGU by 13.4 percent (12.1 pct in November) and the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party by 8.1 percent (7.9 pct in November).

The Order and Justice party ranks fourth with 5.6 percent (6.4 pct in November), while the Liberal Movement and the Centre Party each secured support of 4.1 percent of respondents (4 pct and 3.6 pct in November, respectively).

Another 22.1 percent of respondents were undecided on the party to support (23.9 pct in November).

The public opinion poll was carried out by Vilmorus pollster for Lietuvos Rytas daily on Dec. 1-10.
