If elections took place on the nearest weekend, Skvernelis would be supported by 14.7 percent of respondents, Matijošaitis would secure 11.9 percent of the vote and Nausėda would be backed by 10.5 percent. The trio of top candidates remained unchanged from a month ago.

The list is continued by diplomat Vygaudas Ušackas, the European Union's former ambassador to Russia (7.3 pct), ruling Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union leader Ramūnas Karbauskis (6.7 pct), MP Ingrida Šimonytė (6.1 pct), MEP Vilija Blinkevičiūtė (5.8 pct). Another 4.3 percent of those polled specified journalist Andrius Tapinas, however, he recently said he would not join the presidential race in 2019.

The survey of 1,007 respondents between ages of 18 and 75 was conducted by Spinter Tyrimai (Spinter Surveys) polling company for delfi.lt on Oct. 20-26.

Lithuania's nearest presidential election is scheduled for May of 2019.
