"I inquire (about the minister's health) every day. I can say today that I have been informed by the head of the Santariškės Clinic that (the minister's) condition is improving," he told reporters on Monday.

Požela, 34, fell ill during his summer vacation. He was admitted to hospital in mid-August with acute gastrointestinal disorder and abdominal pain and was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis of biliary origin.
