Summer temperatures (and the occasional summer thunderstorm) have finally hit Lithuania over the past week or two, meaning that Lithuanians and tourists have been hitting the beaches in droves.

In our picture of the week, the sun sets on another perfect day in Palanga. The pier to the left of the picture is a central location where visitors and couples can walk out over the water for a relaxing or romantic moment together among the waves and the sky.

Palanga is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, but rising prices have been ruffling Lithuanian visitors' feathers.
