The traditional Christmas run took place in Vilnius Old Town on Sunday at the start of the holiday season.

Just like in earlier years, runners competed in distances of 3 km, 6 km and 12 km, with the youngest runners taking part in the Gnome Run of 200 m.

The 42nd Christmas Run set a record of participant number, as over 3,000 runners lined up at the start line, organizers said.
