"Amandus is a restaurant, where whole focus goes to high quality, tasty and interesting food. Starting from my studies in Copenhagen than following with few successful restaurants in Lithuania I do know, what my guests and I like the most. I do believe, that my restaurant will be on the international map of gourmet, and Vilnius will be one of the cities, which people are choosing also because of the food culture", – explains famous Lithuanian chef Deivydas Praspaliauskas.

The name Amandus is a symbolic respect sign for the family of Lizzi and Knud Amandus, who were taking care of Deivydas Praspaliauskas, while he was studying culinary in Denmark. By the way, Latin word Amandus means beloved, the same meaning has Deivydas's name in Hebrew.

"Without Amandus family I would not be at the place where I am now. It's one of the ways to thank the people that are important to me. I do believe that this place will be loved by those, who appreciated tasty, high quality food", – says two-time winner of the best Lithuania's chef Deivydas Praspaliauskas.

Dishes of Amandus are from seasonal products – mostly local and brought from these counties, where they are growing or having old preparation traditions.

You can find restaurant Amandus in Pilies str. 34, at the hotel Artagonist. A la carte menu restaurant is working daily, and tasting menu is been offered from Tuesday till Saturday
