Skvernelis is scheduled to meet with the heads of the military and civil administration of the Donetsk region, to visit an outpatient clinic repaired using Lithuania's funds and to open a children's playground set up using money raised by Lithuanian volunteers.

The prime minister is also to meet with local people and to hand over aid, including foodstuffs and medical supplies, from the Lithuanian government and the Blue/Yellow organization to Ukrainian troops.

Skvernelis will then go to Kiev to meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and to open a security forum.
