The Panemunė-Sovetsk border checkpoint on the Lithuanian-Russian border will not work for four hours on Thursday, Lithuania's State Border Guard Service said.

Traffic through this border checkpoint will be temporarily halted due to planned power network maintenance work in Kaliningrad.

The restrictions on the movement of vehicles and persons will be in place for four hours since 10 a.m. (Lithuanian time).
