After visiting Ukraine last week, the Lithuanian speaker also briefed the participants of the Stockholm meeting on the changes in Ukraine in countering corruption, progress in the aspiration for visa-free travels and other reforms, the parliament's Public Relations Division said.

According to the press release, the parliamentary speaker stressed the need for the Western world to keep sanctions on Russia and provide support to Ukraine.

Graužinienė said the possibility for EU countries to cooperate with active public organizations in Ukraine in providing rehabilitation to persons back from the war zone and their relatives was a significant initiative.

Graužinienė is in Sweden this week to attend a meeting of NB8 parliamentary speakers.
