Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the brutal school attack in the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar on 16 December.

The Taliban movement in Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack that left more than hundred people dead. The number of victims continues to grow.

Lithuania's Foreign Ministry offers its heartfelt condolences to the families and relatives of those killed and to all the victims of the terrorist attack, it said in a statement.

Those who organized, participated or otherwise contributed to the attack that shocked the whole international community must be brought to justice, the ministry said.
