Birutis attended the opening of the main exhibition of the Museum of History of Polish Jews earlier this week. In his words, he discussed briefly ethnic minority issues with his Polish counterpart Malgorzata Omilanowska but did not put major emphasis on them.

"The minister is well-informed about Lithuania and wants good-natured cooperation. There were no reproaches. We touched upon this issue but did not elaborate. The Polish culture minister sees no obstacles to cooperation," Birutis told BNS on Wednesday.
