Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday it had allocated EUR 30,000 (103,000 litas) in humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza.

The money will be transferred to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) which is implementing aid programs for Palestinians.

Gaza officials say 1,875 Palestinians, mainly civilians, have been killed during the ongoing four-week-long conflict. Israel cites 64 military and three civilians deaths in the conflict that started on 7 July.
