The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry will next week unveil a new mobile application that will allow people traveling abroad to view all relevant consular information and travel recommendations for specific countries and to use other functions.

The mobile app, named "Travel Safely", is designed to increase access to consular information, especially in places where no Internet connection is available or in the event of an emergency, the ministry said.

The new app will be unveiled on Monday by Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius and its developers.
