Lithuania's Defense Ministry on Tuesday held a solemn ceremony of changeover of Finnish defense attachés.

Lieutenant Colonel Pekka Antti Juhani Sviili was replaced by Commander Jussi Voutilainen in the position, the Defense Ministry said.

At the ceremony, Defense Vice-Minister Marijus Velička presented the outgoing defense attaché with the National Defense System Medal of Merit for the development and enhancement of defense cooperation between Lithuania and Finland.

Voutilainen will reside in Tallinn.
