Lithuania's Economy Minister Mindaugas Sinkevicius left for the United States on Sunday to meet with Lithuanian and US business figures.

The agenda of his June 18-23 stay in Los Angeles includes meetings with representatives of the Lithuanian-US business association Laba.la and local businesses, participation in a global event of life BIO International Convention to meet with representatives of US companies and associations.

"We are ready to present the progress Lithuania has made in the field of life sciences and offer the products and services developed in Lithuania to the global life sciences market," Sinkevicius said in a press release.

During the visit, a cooperation agreement should be signed with the business and technologies agency Berlin Partner for Technologies. Sinkevicius' agenda in the United States also includes meetings with they key members of the startup ecosystem of the Silicon Valley and the most innovative companies attracting global attention, such as Hyperloop One.
