The ministers will also discuss preparations for the upcoming meeting of NATO defense ministers in June and the NATO Summit in July, as well as cooperation with strategic partners, Lithuania's Ministry of National Defense said.
The ministers will also visit the maritime surveillance centre of the Lithuanian Navy and after the meeting and also visit the LNG terminal.
Baltic defense ministers and chiefs of defense meet twice a year annually to discuss political aspects of regional security, and develop joint practical cooperation projects. At such meetings proposals regarding further priorities in the Baltic defense cooperation are made.
