The average electricity price in Nord Pool Spot power market Lithuanian trading zone was LTL 0.182 (EUR 0.053) per kilowatt hour on 24-30 November. Although electricity price increased in the last week of November, yet the average monthly price was the lowest since May.

After temperatures in Lithuania fell by 4.5 degrees Celsius last week, electricity demand increased by 4 percent (5 percent in the Baltics). The supply of electricity generated in Lithuania's thermal power plants also increased - last week electricity generation rose by around 1 terawatt hour compared to the previous week.

24 percent of electricity consumed in Lithuania last week was also generated here, whereas 76 percent was imported. 38 percent of the imported electricity was imported from the North, while 62 percent from the East.

International Latvia-Estonia electricity link throughput on 24-30 November was used on average at 99 percent, Lithuania-Latvia at 42 percent, Lithuania-Kaliningrad at 100 percent, Lithuania-Belarus at 59 percent.
