Polish company Solaris Bus & Coach and Luminor bank will deliver 150 new city buses for 40.486 million euros to the city of Vilnius next year.

The Lithuanian capital's municipality said the two companies had won a tender, which also involved Adampolis, a Kaunas truck and bus trading company, in cooperation with the Lithuanian branch of UniCredit Leasing.

Vilnius will receive 100 two -axle low- floor buses and 50 three-axle low-floor buses by lease.

In September, the Lithuanian capital's municipality agreed with Solaris on purchase of 41 new trolleybuses for 19.2 million euros.
