The state allocated around 2.1 million euros for advertizing events to mark the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuania's statehood in the first quarter of this year, figures submitted to BNS Lithuania by the Kantar TNS market researcher show.

"The presentation of events dedicated to mark the restoration of the state of Lithuania had influence on the fact that spending on advertizing rose in the media. Compared to the first quarter of 2017, the budget for commemoration events rose 160 times," Giedre Juronienė, head of advertizing monitoring, told BNS Lithuania.
