Under the deal, Lithuania’s Helisota will service Airbus civil aviation helicopters at its Kaunas base.

"These are all-purpose helicopters used both by private individuals and by border and police forces, and electricity network and oil and gas pipeline operators," said Anatolij Legenzov, chief executive of Helisota.

The first helicopters from Airbus will arrive for servicing in Kaunas in early April.
