French Finance Minister Michel Sapin is coming to Lithuania this week to discuss the financial situation in the eurozone.

His agenda for Friday includes meetings with Lithuania's Finance Minister Rimantas Šadžius and the governor of the central Bank of Lithuania, Vitas Vasiliauskas, the French Embassy in Vilnius confirmed to BNS.

The meetings should address economic promotion instruments in Europe, particularly the new investment plan proposed by the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the negotiations with Greece and efforts to counter tax evasion.
