Liudas Dapkus, deputy editor-in-chief at the daily Lietuvos Rytas and editor-in-chief at the Lrytas.lt news website, said on October 5 that he is leaving Lietuvos Rytas.

"It's time for new horizons, challenges and discoveries," Dapkus said on Facebook. He could not be reached by BNS for comment.

Dapkus has worked interruptedly at Lietuvos Rytas since 1991.
