At the Great Lithuanian Hetman Jonušas Radvila Training Regiment, Grybauskaitė visited premises were soldiers are taught to disassemble and assemble weapons, as well as the laser shooting-range which was created with assistance of scientists from Kaunas University of Technology.

The president said that Lithuanians should be proud that the country is creating conditions to manufacture high-quality products.

When asked if the Seimas will have enough political will to reintroduce conscription, Grybauskaitė emphasised that ensuring defendability of the state is the constitutional duty of every member of the Seimas.
