A meeting of chiefs of defence of NATO member-states will take place in Vilnius on 19-21 September, spokesman for Lithuania's defence minister confirmed to BNS.

The date and location were announced at the end of the NATO summit in Wales where the alliance decided to step up defence in the Baltic states in response to Russia's aggression in Ukraine.
