Rimtautas Černiauskas has resigned as director of the Lithuanian National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the Defence Ministry confirmed to BNS.

According to ministry officials, Černiauskas stepped down from his post on April 4 for personal reasons.

The head of the ministry's Cyber Security and Information Technology Department, which coordinates the NCSC activities, is serving as the center's acting director until a new director is appointed.
