This is the first time LG won such a tender of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, the company said. The vehicles will be delivered by rail, roads and sea.

According to the press release, the first armored vehicles are already on their way to Lithuania, with all of the heavy equipment expected to reach Lithuania's Armed Forces within two months.

Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai started providing logistics services to NATO Allies going to the Baltic states for exercises in 2016. The railway company has already delivered items for Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, the United States and other countries.
