German military equipment will be brought to a training event in Lithuania on Friday, the Baltic country's Ministry of National Defence said.

The equipment will be used by German troops who will take part in the multinational Exercise Iron Sword 2014 on 2-14 November.

The equipment will include 70 military vehicles and 14 containers: two armoured recovery vehicle BPZ, armoured personnel carriers FUCHS, lightweight armored reconnaissance vehicles FENNEK and EAGLE IV as well as other type of vehicles and military equipment.
