Vilnius Mayor Remigijus Simasius plans to take part in the event next Tuesday, his spokesman Aleksandras Zubriakovas told BNS.
The sign in the Tibetan language will feature a mandala of Tibet's patron bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.
"The ritual of making and destroying a mandala is one of the most flagrant examples of how unique Tibet's civilization is," the non-governmental Tibet Group said in a press release.
