The new stamp was created by artist Aušra Ratkevičienė.

“By introducing Lithuanian culinary heritage we release a postage stamp which will present a dessert highly favoured by Kings and Dukes - cucumber with honey. The items labeled with the new stamp will spread throughout the world, which will be an opportunity for foreigners to see traditional Lithuanian cuisine and maybe even discover the taste of cucumber with honey taste,” said Lithuanian Post Sales Service Manager Aurimas Čiagus.
