In March and April, several Lithuanian cities and towns are joining the World Day of Inner Peace and organizing meditation events.

"The inspiration for this project springs from the many ‘World Days’ which have been held over previous years. Our aim is to bring the noble intentions from these events to a new level. That of experiencing meditation," the organizers said in a press release.

March 21 will be dedicated to the universal principal of peace, by paying tribute to the inspirational figures who have embodied this message in recent years (from Gandhi to Martin Luther King to Nelson Mandela).

There will be free meditation events in Vilnius, Klaipėda and Kaunas.

The events are organized by Association "Sachadža joga Lietuvoje".
