"One of the nearest tasks is to establish the Institute of Pedagogy for us as a ministry and as a state to have a brain centre that would coordinate programmes, the workload for schoolchildren. We definitely need such a centre, without one we would not be able to move forward," the minister told the Žinių Radijas news radio on Tuesday.

In his words, after previous governments closed the Institute of Pedagogy, now specialists of every discipline want to make their subject a priority at school.
