Since energy of the future will become the main theme of the exposition, the Ministries of Environment and Energy have been assigned to arrange a presentation of our country. All costs of participation of Lithuania in the EXPO 2017 by preliminary estimates will amount to approximately EUR 2.7 million, the Ministry of Environment reports.

The EXPO 2017 will be the 12th international exposition in which Lithuania will have been participated. The first time Lithuania unofficially participated in the 1900 Paris international exposition.

The main theme of this year's EXPO 2015 International Exposition taking place in Milan, Italy is Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, this is why the Ministries of Environment and Agriculture have taken care of arranging the Lithuanian pavilion at the Exposition.
