On Friday, President Dalia Grybauskaitė will pay a visit to Klaipėda on the Baltic coast, where she will open the Sea Festival and will attend its events. The traditional festival is being hosted by Klaipėda for the 55th time.

The leader of the country is also visiting the Lithuanian Sea Museum.

On Friday evening, Grybauskaitė will announce the beginning of the Sea Festival and welcome the participants of the event.

On Saturday, the president will attend the ceremony of descending of wreaths to commemorate those who perished in the Baltic Sea.
