Bodino Engineering, an Italian company specializing in the design and creation of temporary and permanent architectural structures and fittings for indoor and outdoor use, will install Lithuania’s pavilion at the world fair Expo 2015 in Milan under a contract worth 7.3 million litas (EUR 2.1m), not including VAT.

The agreement with Bodino Engineering was signed on 5 December and the works should be completed by 31 March, Dovilė Montvilaitė of the Environment Ministry told BNS.

Bodino Engineering, which bid an acceptable price and had extensive expertise, was the only company invited to negotiations, she added.

More than 140 countries from all around the world are expected to participate in Expo 2015 between May and October next year. The world fair expects to draw around 30 million visitors.
