KINO PAVASARIS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The Kino Pavasaris international film festival was kicked off yesterday and will be showing films throughout Lithuania through April 14th. To find out more about the festival, click here.

VILNIUS

First Lithuanian book ever printed on display – 4/1, 11:00-19:00
The Catechism, the first book to be printed in Lithuanian, will be on display at the Library of Vilnius University. Admission is free.

Vilnius Whisky Festival – 4/2, 12:00-19:00
Vilnius (and the Baltic region's) first whisky festival will be kicking off at the Crowne Plaza Vilnius on Saturday.

TEDx Vilnius – 4/2, 9:00-18:00
The annual TEDx Vilnius event, which brings together interesting speakers on a variety of subjects, will be kicking off this weekend.

KAUNAS

The Little Book Fair in Kaunas – 4/1, 11:00-18:00
Kaunas will be holding a small book fair with a variety of Lithuanian publishers present. The event will also include readings and presentations at the Vincas Kudirka public library in Kaunas.

Bungee jumping from a bridge over the Nemunas – 4/3, 11:00-16:00
Depending on their weight, participants will be able to free-fall for 20-25m over the Nemunas river in Kaunas. The organiser can accept people who weigh up to 105kg.

Make your own white mandala pottery – 4/3, 14:00
Participants will get to relax and create white plates and decorate them with Eastern mandala designs. The €18 price includes the price of materials and kiln firing.
