Passenger train from Poland to arrive in Kaunas after gap of 75 years

On 27 August, a train from Poland will arrive in Kaunas on the new Rail Baltica track with Catherine Trautmann, the European Coordinator for the North Sea-Baltic core network corridor, of which Rail Baltica railway line is a part, aboard. A train from Poland with passengers aboard last arrived in Lithuania in August 1939, the Ministry of Transport and Communications reports.
